Community Voice Workshop

Thank you for joining the other 100+ participating schools in a Community Voice Workshop! Members of the YouthTruth team will join us in-person to provide hands-on training in how to make the most out of the feedback that we’ve just collected.

Please arrive by 9:00am for snacks, beverages, and networking. The workshop will start promptly at 9:30am and we will provide breakfast and light snacks.

What will we do? During this time you will:

- Explore and Reflect on your YouthTruth data
- Learn best practices for closing the feedback loop with students and stakeholders
- Share your insights and learn from other educators across the Detroit-area
- Integrate your student and stakeholder feedback into plans for next school year

Who, from my team, should come?

We encourage building leadership (Principals, Assistant Principals, etc.) as well as District and CMO Leadership to attend. Each attending staff member must RSVP separately to ensure an accurate attendee count.

What should I bring?

Your laptop or tablet (and power cord if your battery dies after an hour or two...)! This is very important. The workshop is designed to help you get the most out of your online data. As such, please . . .
- Make sure you know how to access your YouthTruth online reports before the workshop (email us @ detroit@youthtruthsurvey.org if you need help)
- Bring that internet-enabled laptop or tablet to use your online reports throughout the day
